Safeguarding For Parents and Carers

Peover Superior Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  We expect all staff and visitors to share this commitment.  We are fully committed to ensuring that consistent effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school.  All concerns are passed to trained Designated Child Protection Officers in school in compliance with the sharing of information guidance.

The Senior Designated Officer for Child Protection is Joanne Munro.  She is supported by the Deputy Designated Officer for Child Protection, Janet Stott, and our Other Deputy Designated Officer Amy Ellis-Stansfield, as well as the Nominated Governor for Safeguarding and Child Protection, Liz Clover. Our Designated Officer for Child Protection for the Aspire Trust is Lynn Treadway who can be contacted via email at ltreadway@aet.cheshire.sch.uk

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all professionals in this academy make sure their approach is child-centred. This means we consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.
